Victor's Place - Probabely the best Indian Restaurant in BJ

I found this Indian restaurant by chance from internet about 2 years ago. It was far from where I live but it turned out to be a worth. I recommended to many of my friends and went there quite many times. One day when I went there again I found with surprise that it was replaced by a Mexican restaurant! I just don't understand how come such a nice restaurant could end up close down. Since then I tried several others Indian Restaurants in Beijing but found none of them even come close to Victor's. I really miss Victor's.

Lately I was informed by chance that the Victor's Place moved to Laiguangying. I was so exciting and drove there immediatly. It IS the Victor's I dreamed of. The difference is this one is focused on Take Out and Delivery service. The restaurant itself is smaller than the former one with only 4 4-person tables inside. Though small and simply decorated the taste never goes.

The complimentary appetizer tastes good and the dip is very special with the taste of mint. The handmade utensiles were bought by the owner directly from India. The indian waiter is polite and a little bit shy. We ordered our favorite Lentil Soup, Lam Masala and of course the plaint Lassi. The long lost gratification is finally back.
